Carrigaline Southern Relief Road, Carrigaline, Co. Cork

The project is ongoing with most of the road complete and open for public use.

MHL have been involved in the planning, detail design and construction stages of large sections of the Carrigaline Southern Relief Road. Upon completion the relief road will connect the Crosshaven Road (R612) and the Kinsale Road (R611) passing through the housing estates of Castleheights & Forest Hill. DMURS standards were applied along the new relief road as the speed limit is 50km/hr. Off road cycle lanes have been provided along it’s entirety. The scheme includes a full in-house public lighting design which has been undertaken by MHL in consultation with Cork County Council.

Upon completion the Carrigaline Southern Relief Road will be 1.6km in length, including 3 roundabouts.
