MHL Consulting Engineers was established in 1999 by its three founding directors, Ken Manley, Martin Hanley and Brian Loughrey. Using experience gained in the UK and Local Authority road design offices the company offers both the public and private sectors, traffic and transportation solutions, general civil engineering design and a road safety expertise. These solutions can be delivered using the latest in computer aided design. The paramics software suite for traffic modelling and AutoCad 3D civils for road design are but two of the full complement of design software available to clients.

Over the years informal relationships have been developed with other firms and specialist engineering service providers ensuring that the full range of construction related services are on offer.

The three directors are qualified to carry out the role of PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) and all three have been resident engineers on a number of roads schemes. The company is ISO9001 compliant and is an active member of the ACEI (Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland).
