Using the paramics traffic modelling software MHL carried out a Traffic & Transportation Study for Skibbereen

MHL were engaged by Cork County Council to carry out a Traffic & Transportation Study for Skibbereen Town and its environs.

Following our appointment a comprehensive traffic, pedestrian and car parking survey was carried out from which it was possible to construct a base year traffic model for the town. A constraints study highlighted the areas most in need of change and a detailed report was prepared and presented to the Local Town Council and the general public.

The video below is an excerpt from the paramics traffic model for the town and shows a 3D view of Main Street with some of the proposed changes in place. Also featured is the proposed signalised junction of Ilen Street and Bridge Street. Please click to view.
